Left, Right, and Centered

Ok, it was bad enough when we had to hear that Mark Sanford’s Argentinian assignation was his “soulmate”, not to mention the flowery bodice-ripper descriptions of her various anatomic accoutrements, but now we have this disclosure from John Ensign: 

Oh, come on already.  His main concern is that he and his motel-buddy need to get right with God?  As if it was some kind of threesome with him, his honey, and Jesus? (Which reminds me of the old joke about the only problem with being an atheist: You have no name to scream out during sex…) I’m gaining ever more respect for Elliot Spitzer, who at least had the class to have a good old fashioned roll in the hay with a genuine home-grown American hooker, and then not burden us with sappy  romantic protestations of eternal love and devotion.  Sanford and Ensign ought to be impeached just for causing a giant wave of national nausea.
